Fitness & Functional Capacity: BPFT (Brockport Physical Fitness Test), FitnessGram (selected components),
6-Minute Walk Test (6MWT), Timed Up and Go (TUG), 10-Meter Walk Test, Step test / endurance checks (as appropriate), Heart rate monitoring / RPE-based intensity checks.
Motor Proficiency & Coordination: BOT-2 (Bruininks–Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency), TGMD-3 (Test of
Gross Motor Development), MABC-2 (Movement Assessment Battery for Children) (where applicable).
Balance, Strength & Posture (Functional): single-leg stance / balance screening, functional reach (as
appropriate), Sit-to-Stand test (5xSTS), core stability screening (ability-based), flexibility and range screening (as needed).
Sport-Specific Readiness (Adapted): throwing, catching, kicking readiness, reaction and response drills,
rule-following and turn-taking skill check, Special Olympics event readiness checklists (sport-dependent).
